Last night, Colorado Avalanche prospect Oskar Olausson scored 10 seconds into regulation as the Colts took on the Soo Greyhounds. The goal was his third of the season in as many games as he continues to impress Barrie fans.
Not only was the goal fast, but it was actually the fastest goal in franchise history to start a game.
#OHL SSM/BAR: The party started early for @OHLBarrieColts who took a 2-0 lead after one. Oskar Olausson extends goal streak to three with tally just 10 seconds into the contest. Breaks previous franchise record of fastest goal to start game by a second (Tim Verbeek, 11/20/99).

A Geoffrey Brandow pointed out in the tweet above, the previous record of 11 seconds was set on November 20th, 1999. Tim Verbeek scored on Cory Roberts of the Owen Sound Attack with Blaine Down getting an assist. Barrie would go on to lose that game 5-4.
Here is a look at Oskars record-breaking goal!
Congratulations to Olausson on setting a team record and an incredible start to his season!
