On this day (Sept 21) in 2017, Barrie Colts rookie Andrei Svechnikov scored his first OHL goal with the Barrie Colts VS Ottawa 67's. This goal was his first of two in the game and would be the winner in the 11-2 win over Ottawa.

He would go on to score 40 goals and 32 assists with Barrie that season in 44 games played.
