Barrie Molson Centre is now known as Sadlon Arena. Gene Pereira tweeted out today that the city council has approved a new offer by Paul Sadlon Motors Inc.
The deal is for ten years and is for a total of $1,701,210 paid in increments of $170.121 per year. Sadlon Motors had already sent an offer of $2,000,000 over 25 years which was turned down by the city council after they determined that they could get a better deal.Home of the @OHLBarrieColts will now be know as the Sadlon Arena. This fall, CampMart submitted an offer of $1,650,000. While it wasn't confirmed if that offer was rejected or if Paul Sadlon submitted the new proposal and outbid CampMart.
