The Barrie Colts lost in a close game VS the Sudbury Wolves. Rookies Tyson Foerster and Riley Piercey had strong games for the Ponies, while Jack York put up a pair of goals. Other bright sides to the game were Daulton Duhart playing a strong game while Kai Edmonds was strong in goal. Though the team lost 4-3, there is a lot for the Colts to be excited about regarding the teams future.
Unfortunately, there is some concern towards the status of Matej Pekar who left the game the game after receiving a blindside hit by Liam Ross. Ross took a minor penalty on the hit early in the 2nd period. There is no update on Pekar's status but we will update once we hear more.
