15 Days until the Barrie Colts 2018-19 home opener!
Jaden Peca has word the number 15 for the last two seasons with the Barrie Colts. After being drafted 106th overall at the 2015 OHL Priority Selection Draft, he would play in his rookie season during the 2016-17 campaign. That year, he put up a goal 6 assists through 56 regular season games.
His sophomore season was a huge jump production wise, where he went on to 16 goals with 31 assists. His ability to produce points, while being defensively reliable made him a serious depth player on the Colts roster. He finished the season with a strong +32 plus/minus.
At the 2017-18 Pony Awards, we awarded Jaden with the Colin Behenna award which we hand out to the most improved player.
Jaden also got an invite to the Arizona Coyotes rookie camp this offseason.
Peca will be a huge parts of the Colts success this season, possibly landing top-6 minutes. We anticipate he will have a career year, while helping the Colts contend in the East. His ability to play a 200 foot game will make him one of the more valuable players on the team.
