Andrew Mangiapane signs entry-level contract with Calgary Flames. #OHL #NHL

Today the Calgary Flames announced that they have signed Barrie Colts forward Andrew Mangiapane to an entry-level contract. Mangiapane was drafted by the Flames in the 5th round (166th overall) at the 2015 NHL Draft.

Mangiapane currently sits in 6th in OHL scoring with 55 assists and a total of 106 points. His 51 goals was the second most in the OHL.

His 106 point total this season was his second consecutive 100 point campaign. Last season he put up 61 assists for a total of 104 points.

In 3 regular seasons with the Colts, Andrew has played in 195 games where he has scored 118 goals, 143 assists and totalled 261 points. He is a +83 over that time and has only received 132 penalty minutes. Mangiapane's 261 points is the 5th most all time in Barrie Colts franchise history.
